Challange:
6-flat block facing MEES non-compliance, with properties ranging from Band F to Band D. Landlord needed clarity on prioritization, funding routes, and tenant-friendly delivery.
CASE Approach:
Property-level assessment identified tailored measures for each flat – from mould treatment and ventilation improvements to full insulation and heating upgrades.
We mapped funding eligibility, developed a phased roadmap with flat-by-flat sequencing, and provided structured handover to delivery partners for installation.
Outcome:
5 of 6 flats upgraded to Band C or above using mixed funding. One flat deferred to accommodate tenant preference. Full MEES compliance achieved with zero disruption—all works completed over 4 months while tenants remained in occupancy.
